Charles Ringenberg has joined RPA’s Bozeman office as an Engineering Designer / Construction Technician in the Streets and Highways Group. Prior to attending Montana State University (MSU) where he recently earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Charles served in the United States Marine Corps as a Sergeant. In addition to his education, Charles gained hands-on experience through a summer internship where he conducted on-site construction observation and monitored construction activities to ensure compliance with plans and specifications. Charles will utilize his experience and education to complete various aspects of highway design, including data collection and analysis, report writing, and preparation of construction documents for RPA.

Mathew T. Wilder, PE, has joined RPA’s Helena office as a Project Manager in the Airports Group. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Wyoming, Mathew brings 12 years of civil engineering experience with a primary focus in airport design, construction, maintenance, operations, and safety. Additionally, he has worked with various government agencies in the coordination and approval of federal grants for several airports throughout the northwest. As a project manager at RPA, Mathew will apply his extensive knowledge and industry experience to provide high-quality, responsive engineering design services to current and future clients.

Mike Johnson, PE, has re-joined RPA’s Helena office as a Senior Design Team Leader in the Streets and Highways Group. He is a graduate of Montana State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. Mike has 19 years of experience in civil engineering with a primary focus on highway design development and project management. As a senior design team leader at RPA, his work includes all aspects of project development, from initial alternative analysis through design, right-of-way acquisition, and permitting. Mike will apply his extensive knowledge and well-rounded civil design experience to provide high-quality, innovative engineering design solutions for current and future clients.

Neal Levang, PE, has joined RPA as a Design Team Leader in the Water and Wastewater Group in the Helena office. He is a graduate of Montana State University-Northern with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering Technology and holds an Associate of Applied Science in Design Drafting Technology. Neal has 15 years of experience in design of municipal water treatment and wastewater treatment facilities with a focus on the construction management. As a design team leader at RPA, he will assist in overseeing project development and review work completed on projects to assure that engineering design uses appropriate technology and meets the firm’s standards of accuracy and completeness.

Elizabeth Barton, EI, has joined RPA’s Streets and Highways Group as an Engineering Designer/Construction Technician. Elizabeth is a recent graduate of Montana State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with highest honors. She interned with RPA for two summers gaining valuable hands-on experience and exposure to a variety of projects. At RPA, Elizabeth is responsible for assisting with various aspects of highway design, including data collection and analysis, report writing, and plans production. Elizabeth’s strong work ethic and dedication to her chosen profession make her an excellent addition to the RPA team.

Welcome, Tony Woods to RPA!
RPA wants to extend a warm welcome to Tony Woods, EI who has joined the Kalispell Office. Tony is primarily focused on engineering design, specifications, and cost estimates for National Parks Service (NPS) Projects. Currently, Tony is working on two (2) projects for the NPS within the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. He is designing two (2) boat launch ramp extensions, one at Echo Bay and one at Hemenway Harbor, for Lake Mead. Additionally, he is working on the schematic design of an access road, parking lots, and launch ramp at Callville Bay within Lake Mead. With these projects, Tony is assisting the NPS at Lake Mead to maintain public access to the lake during these difficult low water times.
Michelle McHam Joins RPA
Michelle McHam has joined Robert Peccia and Associates (RPA) as an Administrative Assistant. Ms. McHam holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Illustration from the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design in Lakewood, CO. Ms. McHam has eight years of clerical experience, most recently working as an Administrative Project Coordinator, for an architecture firm in Denver, CO. She will provide administrative support to all components of RPA’s civil engineering and land surveying projects. Her extensive experience in the Architect/Engineering Industry, coupled with her exceptional customer service, document organization, and completion of time-sensitive projects, makes Ms. McHam a valuable addition to the RPA team.
