Chris Brazda has joined the Robert Peccia & Associates (RPA) Kalispell office as an Engineering Designer/Construction Technician in the Site Development Group. Chris is a recent graduate of Montana State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. To complement his education, Chris’s internship gave him valuable experience in septic system and drainfield design, as well as construction inspection. In his role as an Engineering Designer, Chris assists with various reports, preparing specifications and cost estimates, data collection and analysis and construction observation.

Colin Sassano has joined the Robert Peccia & Associates (RPA) Helena office as an Engineering Designer/Construction Technician in the Water and Wastewater Group. Colin is a recent graduate of Carroll College where in addition to earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, he also played linebacker and served as team captain of the Fighting Saints Football Team. He interned with RPA for two summers, gaining valuable hands-on engineering experience working on a variety of water and wastewater projects. In his role as an Engineering Designer, Colin assists with various reports, data collection and analysis such as sludge sampling and flow measurements, project design, and construction observation.

Michael Nehring has joined the Robert Peccia & Associates (RPA) Helena office as an Engineering Designer/Construction Technician in the Streets and Highways Group. Michael is a graduate of Montana Technological University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. Prior to joining RPA, he acquired valuable experience through two consecutive internships with the Montana Department of Transportation working in the Bridge Bureau and performing construction inspection. In his role as an Engineering Designer, Michael will utilize his experience and education to complete various aspects of highway design, including data collection, alternatives analysis and preparation of construction documents.

Carson Harken has joined the Robert Peccia & Associates (RPA) Helena office as an Engineering Designer/Construction Technician in the Transportation Planning and Operations Group. Carson is a recent graduate of Carroll College where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. While attending college, Carson gained valuable hands-on engineering experience through an extended internship where he primarily completed drafting and report writing for multiple land development projects. In his role as an Engineering Designer, Carson assists with various aspects of transportation planning and engineering analyses, including data collection, alternatives analysis, preparation of transportation planning documents and traffic simulation and modeling.

Jason Brown has joined the Robert Peccia & Associates (RPA) Kalispell office as a Senior CADD Operator. In addition to studying Architecture at the University of Idaho, Jason has an Associate of Applied Science degree in Drafting and Design from the ITT Technical Institute in Spokane, Washington. He brings 13 years of drafting and design experience and provides excellent technical drawings through a variety of Computer Aided Drafting platforms. In his role as a Senior CADD Operator, Jason is primarily responsible for applying engineering design standards to prepare construction drawings for a wide array of projects.

Trigve Johnson, has joined the Robert Peccia & Associates (RPA) Helena office as a Construction Technician in the Water and Wastewater Group. In addition to studying Mechanical Engineering at Montana State University, he brings three years of experience with as-built data collection, machine control, heavy equipment operation, and CAD design. In his role as a construction technician, Trigve is primarily responsible for on-site quality control and observation of construction activities in conformance with project plans and specifications. Trigve’s strong work ethic and dedication make him an excellent addition to the RPA team.

Zach Diede, PE, has joined Robert Peccia & Associates (RPA) as the Structures Group Assistant Manager. He brings over 22 years of structural engineering experience in a wide variety of markets, including education, commercial, healthcare, government, multi-family and custom residential projects. Zach will work out of RPA’s Kalispell office and in his role as an assistant group manager, he will develop and manage projects as well as assist with the group’s business development and quality control. He graduated from the University of Wyoming, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering with a structural emphasis. Zach’s extensive experience and dedication to his profession, coupled with his respected reputation in the industry, make him a valuable addition to the RPA team.

Charles Ringenberg has joined RPA’s Bozeman office as an Engineering Designer / Construction Technician in the Streets and Highways Group. Prior to attending Montana State University (MSU) where he recently earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Charles served in the United States Marine Corps as a Sergeant. In addition to his education, Charles gained hands-on experience through a summer internship where he conducted on-site construction observation and monitored construction activities to ensure compliance with plans and specifications. Charles will utilize his experience and education to complete various aspects of highway design, including data collection and analysis, report writing, and preparation of construction documents for RPA.

Mathew T. Wilder, PE, has joined RPA’s Helena office as a Project Manager in the Airports Group. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Wyoming, Mathew brings 12 years of civil engineering experience with a primary focus in airport design, construction, maintenance, operations, and safety. Additionally, he has worked with various government agencies in the coordination and approval of federal grants for several airports throughout the northwest. As a project manager at RPA, Mathew will apply his extensive knowledge and industry experience to provide high-quality, responsive engineering design services to current and future clients.

Mike Johnson, PE, has re-joined RPA’s Helena office as a Senior Design Team Leader in the Streets and Highways Group. He is a graduate of Montana State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. Mike has 19 years of experience in civil engineering with a primary focus on highway design development and project management. As a senior design team leader at RPA, his work includes all aspects of project development, from initial alternative analysis through design, right-of-way acquisition, and permitting. Mike will apply his extensive knowledge and well-rounded civil design experience to provide high-quality, innovative engineering design solutions for current and future clients.
