JOB OVERVIEW

ROBERT PECCIA & ASSOCIATES (RPA) is seeking a talented and motivated mid-to senior-level Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Water/Wastewater Group, you will be at the forefront of a variety of projects, specializing in surface and groundwater supply development, wastewater collection, and treatment systems for municipal clients. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, self-motivation, leadership skills, and a collaborative spirit to contribute to the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and collaborate on projects related to water supply, treatment, and distribution facilities for communities of all sizes.
  • Contribute to the design and optimization of water treatment processes, employing both conventional physical/chemical methods and alternative systems.
  • Play a key role in the planning and execution of surface and groundwater supply development initiatives.
  • Design, implement, and optimize wastewater collection and treatment systems, including treatment plants, lagoons, and sewage pumping stations.

Provide expertise and support in the preparation of planning reports for water/wastewater projects.

Qualifications

The following are desired qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Professional Engineering license in Montana or ability to obtain within six (6) months.
  • Superior attention to detail, technical proficiency, and desire to work as a team.
  • Self-motivated and ability to work within established deadlines.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.

The following outlines additional position qualifications:

  • Project Engineer: 4-8 years of experience in water/wastewater engineering.
  • Project Manager: 8+ years of experience in water/wastewater engineering; demonstrated experience managing relevant projects.
